A lotion bar is a solid moisturizer that contains effective organic moisturizing ingredients, such as shea butter and olive oil. What it does not contain is water. With the elimination of water, the lotion bar is free of potentially hazardous preservatives and chemicals, such as phthalates, parabens, alcohol, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), ethanolamines and petroleum that are used in water-containing lotions.

This is the product that started it all! When my daughter was two years old, she began having bouts with eczema. It was first treated with a doctor prescribed steroid cream. While this treatment was somewhat effective, I wasn't comfortable with steroid cream for long term use. So, I did extensive research on alternate natural ingredients to combat eczema. These lotion bars have become the "fruit" of my pursuits.

The lotion bar creation inspired our entire line of skin care products to nurture the body as well as the planet.
