The Kosmatology 2019 Mother's Day Gift Guide

It’s almost time to celebrate all the mother figures in our lives, and whether you are celebrating a large group or just one special person, we thought it would be nice to highlight some gifts that we feel are perfect for the wonderful women you are shopping for, at a variety of price points to match your budget. Because while we know that mom loves that macaroni necklace you made back in preschool, it may be time to step back from the pasta art.

Hands holding three small potted plants.

Green Thumb: A nice twist on the traditional bouquet of flowers, and a truly green gift, is a plant. If Mom loves puttering in the garden, she will love the addition of something chosen by someone she loves, bonus points if you choose a perennial that will come back year after year. This is the go-to in my family, and it’s not uncommon for everyone to walk away from Mother’s Day with plenty of new garden additions each year. Just be sure to choose plants not treated with neonicotinoids to keep the pollinators in your area healthy!

Three lip balm tubes labelled “Blushed”, “Flushed” and “Crushed”.

Glam Goddess: If mom always has a few lip balms in her purse, or can’t live without a lip balm in every coat pocket, this is the gift you are looking for. Erin’s Faces was created by a makeup artist who wanted to empower women to find products that “do what they say they will do”, and her Fair Trade Tinted Lip Balm Gift Set featuring organic ingredients will be a welcome addition to any cosmetic bag.

Gift set featuring a body wash, sugar body scrub and two mini lotion bars in a box beside a bouquet of flowers.

Ultimate Relaxation: Sometimes a bath or shower may be the only alone time that mom has in her busy day. Our Kosmatology Mother’s Day Bath Essentials Gift Set comes in your choice of Botanical Bliss for a lavender relaxation theme or Goody Goody Grapefruit for a citrus pick-me-up theme. Either one will make bath or shower time a luxurious aromatherapy experience with a sugar scrub, body wash and two mini lotion bars - one for home and one for on the go.

Three bottles of WaterColors nail polish.

Mani-Pedi Perfection: It’s officially sandal season in almost every area of the country, which means giving feet a little TLC, especially if they have been hiding in boots for months. Honeybee Gardens offers all natural bath and body care with organic ingredients, the Perfectly Polished Trio features their Water Color Nail Enamel in two colors of your choice plus clear; this set will rival any pedicure gift certificate.

Luxury Lounging: If your mom isn’t into the traditional, then she will love Uncommon Goods, they always have something fun and funky and a great selection of upcycled and recycled products, my new favorite is their Upcycled Cotton Sari Robe. This robe is hand made in India from pieces of reclaimed saris and each one will be different, which is so fitting for Mother’s Day, because I have never met two moms that are exactly alike!

Kosmatology Gift Set with facial wash and facial oil in a gift box beside a bouquet of flowers.

Simple Beauty: If your mom loves to keep her routine simple, then Kosmatology’s Mother’s Day Facial Gift Set is the perfect choice. Featuring our Rose Geranium Foaming Face Wash and Oil, this is the way to give mom some flowers that won’t wilt. Head to the Kosmatology site to check out all of our gift sets, or make your own, a trio of mini sugar scrubs sounds like a great gift!
